RCMSAR volunteers depend on donor support to meet the cost of saving lives on the water, as our expenses for training and equipment are not fully covered by the government assistance we receive. Volunteers give their time in communities across BC, but they need training, well-maintained equipment, rescue boats and on-shore facilities. Your support means our RCMSAR volunteers, who put themselves in harm’s way in all kinds of conditions at sea, can save lives and stay safe while doing it.
